ARGAN
The Argan, an endemic specie in Morocco (Argania Spinosa), belongs to the Spontaneous family of plants.
It is millennium and mythical tree which grows only in the south-west of Morocco, and which possesses thousands of virtues; namely that of contributing to the emancipation of the Berber women. In spite of its prickles, the Argan is a gift from God.
The Argan is the basis of rural economy. It exists since hundreds of years. It permits, hence, to consolidate the countryside's populations and to limit the rural-exodus phenomenon (20 million days of work a year).
It plays an irreplaceable role in the ecological equilibrium. Thanks to its strong rooting system, it maintains the lands, supports their fertility and protects them from hydric and scholastic erosions, which threaten to desertify a considerable part of the country.
From the almonds of this fruit, we extract tasteful and delicate oil; the Argan oil has a highly nutritive, dietetic and physiological value for health: Its use in pharmaceutical
industry and its therapeutic virtues make it a very recommended oil due to its scarcity and the numerous hours which its production necessitates.

Indeed, its production is completely manual starting from crushing its fruits, grilling them and grinding its Almonds until the kneading of the paste to extract the oil.
